The Graduate School of Hanyang University's Department of Tourism has led tourism science to the world stage extending beyond Korea.

Over the past 40 years, the Graduate School of Hanyang University's Department of Tourism has embraced an important role as a training center for future leaders from domestic and foreign tourism academia, related research institutes, and public institutions. Hanyang University’s Department of Tourism is sustaining the academic identity based on various academic perspectives such as tourism policy, development, leisure, management, and marketing. In most domestic and foreign tourism departments and related research institutes, the graduates of Hanyang University’s Graduate school of Tourism Department are working as full-time faculty and researchers. Furthermore, the outstanding leaders are significantly continuing their studies to carry on the reputation of Hanyang Tourism School.
